A 15-metre-tall tree suddenly fell onto a street in Ho Chi Minh city


Strong winds and stormy weather caused a tall tree, about 60cm in diameter, to snap at the base and suddenly fell onto a street in Ho Chi Minh city, obstructing traffic. Fortunately, many people were able to avoid it in time, at around 1PM in May 31.

Mr. An - a witness at the scene shared that there was strong winds and it started to rain. “I was startled when I saw the tree fall, everytime noticed in time and managed to avoid it, so no accident occured”, he said.

So please be careful when you are staying in Ho Chi Minh city for work or for traveling.
